Are you one of those people that always has to have a mad late night dash to the shops to get a birthday card? Or sends a “better late than never” message? Because my house is always full of card stock, we often get friends calling over at the last minute because they have forgotten a special occasion, and stand there on the doorstep, with their fingers crossed, hoping we have a “To my wife on our silver wedding anniversary” in the cupboard, and obviously “with the right verse”!
After countless similar dropins over the years, and with the free time afforded to us during an enforced lockdown, we have decided to create Send a Wish, and also create a card subscription service. How it ultimately works will inevitably change with time and some better fine tuning, but the idea is simple. We want you to never miss an important celebration again, never have to have the mad dash to the shops late at night for a card, and instead, glide gracefully to the card drawer and pull out the perfect card, for the perfect celebration, and have some stamps ready and waiting too. Alternatively, if you want a really easy, light touch solution, we will choose the appropriate card for you, we will hand write it with the message you want, and we will post it, so that it arrives on time at the desired location without you ever leaving the comfort of your own home. And that’s it!
So, down to the detail, you sign up for the subscription service, you need to let us know the cards you need to have for the following month, and we will fill the rest up for you to make it to 10 cards that you receive every month from us, which will consist of cards from our miscellaneous section usually and some general birthday. You can also throw in some pre picked packs that we have created some months too if you like, like the wedding pack one month which includes:-

These are perfect for your card drawer as they are cards that you always realise you need, especially engagement, at the last minute. The same with birth cards I tend to find!
Another request from a friend was that we create packs of age cards, for the whole class, and therefore we have age cards in packs of 10 for you available. We will send 10 cards, all for the same age to you ready for all the class birthdays you need to celebrate throughout the year.
So, let us know what you need throughout the year, and we will send you 10 cards per month to fill up your card drawer, if you don’t want to have the hassle of writing and posting them, let us know and we will do that for you too.
For 10 cards per month on a monthly subscription, sent to you - £20 including postage per month
For 10 cards per month, on a monthly subscription, that we hand write and post out directly for you we charge a little bit more - £35 (that’s essentially £0.90 for writing the card and the envelope and £0.60 for the stamp)
As this is a new business and a new idea for us it’s not as technical and seamless as we want it to be going forward, so for the moment you can email us all your special dates (and addresses if needed) and we’ll do the rest of the work for you.
